House hunters seeking their dream property can now view two brand new show homes at our Cherry Blossom View development in the thriving town of Midsomer Norton in north Somerset.
The development is perfectly placed for commuters to Wells, Bath or Bristol and will offer a mix of homes from two bedrooms right up to detached five bedroom properties.
It will also be one of the ‘greenest’ new build schemes with all homes featuring solar panels and EV charging points and energy supplied by ground source heat pumps, making each property highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
As well as being more economical to run the two show homes, a four-bedroom Aspen house type and the five-bedroom Snowberry, demonstrate just how stylish new home living can be.
Suzanne Thomas, creative sales director from Blocc Interiors, the company behind the inspirational designs said: “It was a joy working on two really thoughtfully planned homes. It allowed the team to come up with designs which highlighted the spaces and reinforced the character and potential of the properties.
“While both are aimed at families the layouts are very different and we wanted to try and imagine different lifestyles through aspirational, though achievable, designs and finishes.
“We really hope Wain Homes customers love the finished homes as much as we do and can imagine themselves living there.”
The Aspen boasts a rich palette of earthy tones and lots of textures alongside some clever design touches.
On the ground floor a large open plan diner/kitchen has doors out onto the garden and has been given a modern feel with half height panelling in a deep green. The triple aspect living room is a cosy retreat with feature panelling and textured wallpaper which set off the teal blue sofa.
On the first floor the principal bedroom has the feel of a boutique hotel with a full height padded headboard and dramatic hanging bedside lights with full length curtains running the width of one wall.
The second bedroom on this floor features textured wallpaper, plush furnishings and a bespoke headboard.
On the second floor two double bedrooms have been designed especially for children with fun wallpaper, clever use of textiles and textures and tonal colours.
The large landing area has been fitted out to create a useful study area/ family office.
The mood of the five-bedroom Snowberry is country modern with more dramatic colours, some quirky touches and inspirational ideas.
The house offers a spacious hallway, study and formal lounge and a large open plan kitchen/diner. Panelled walls feature in both the dining area and the lounge which also boasts a bespoke media wall.
Again, ranged over three floors the first-floor principal bedroom features bespoke panelled wallpaper and a crystal light fitting.
Two more bedrooms on this floor are shown as a sweet child’s room with an outdoor theme in tonal greens and a bee themed room with bunk beds and a work space.
On the second floor are two more double bedrooms one with a half-height dado rail and leopard print wallpaper in pink and green while the other is a calm retreat with padded headboard and feature wallpaper.
Suzanne added: “Panelled walls are a trend that looks set to stay and we like mixing that up with strong colours and interesting textures.”
The show homes at Cherry Blossom View are open from 10am to 5pm Thursday to Monday.
Regional sales director Sophie Schofield said: “Midsomer Norton is a wonderful, bustling town with great schools and a strong community feel and Cherry Blossom View is already proving very popular with almost 40% of homes already reserved.
“We know our customers enjoy being inspired by our lovely show homes and they really do demonstrate how the spaces can be used and we look forward to showing how stylish and cost saving living here can be.”
