Customers Give Wain Homes 5-Star Status
We are delighted to share that we have been awarded the coveted 5-star rating by the Home Builders Federation for customer satisfaction.
The rating is based on feedback from the independent New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS), sent to buyers asking whether they would recommend the company and their product to friends and family.
Of almost 500 Wain Homes customers questioned, 91.5% would happily recommend a new property built by Wain Homes.

The HBF is the principal representative body of the home building industry in England and Wales. The HBF’s member firms account for some 80% of all new homes built in England and Wales in any one year, and include companies of all sizes, ranging from multi-national, household names through regionally based businesses to small local companies:
It introduced the simple 1-5 star rating system to allow new home buyers a clear and easy way to identify which housebuilders have the most satisfied customers.
It is one of the largest independent surveys of its type in the country, with around 50,000 recent new home buyers taking part and housebuilders have to achieve higher than 90% satisfaction rate to get the top 5-star ranking. To date this year Wain Homes is recording 94%.
In a further demonstration of quality we were awarded three NHBC Pride in the Job Awards in 2023 and one NHBC Seal of Excellence for demonstrating exemplar construction sites.
We are now also an active member of the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) set up to oversee reforms in the quality of new homes and the customer service provided by housebuilders
The NHQB code of practice - the New Homes Quality Code – ensures every aspect of a new home purchase is covered, from reservation to 24 months post completion.
